Our café menu includes an Italian and international coffee selection of espresso, cortado, macchiato, cappuccino, flat white, seasonal cold brew and more. We offer non-dairy options for all of our drinks using oat milk as a substitution, our baristas are always willing to accomodate special drink orders. For those who stop in to grab a coffee to go, we offer a discount if they bring their own mug. And for those that want to enjoy the delicious coffee we serve at the café in the comforts of their own home, we have coffee beans and ground coffee from local Biel coffee roasters, Caféfaro for sale at the bar. A selection of craft sodas and classic soft drinks is also available, as well as a wide variety of loose leaf hot teas and seasonal homemade iced tea.
For those coming to enjoy an aperitif or an evening drink, we offer a selection of local and international beers on draft and in bottle. Our wine list includes by the glass and by the bottle offerings from the Lake of Biel wine region as well as a variety of Swiss and Italian wines, including a selection of natural wines. We also offer a wide range of aperitifs and spirits as well as a small craft cocktail menu.

In addition to traditional newspapers, digital access to newspapers, magazines and other subscriptions to content is also offered.
The Atomic Café was the first public internet station in Biel in 1996. As a “café de la presse”, it also had the largest range of press services of any café in town. In this spirit, the Atomic Café is now going one step further and adding digital access to paid subscription content for selected titles.

The Association Universelle manages the Atomic Café's cultural program and presents music, literature and more. The association's program committee consists of experienced promoters who work together to curate a program of unique events to be presented in the Atomic Café. The cultural program also offers the opportunity for those interested in hosting a production of their own original content in the space. Since 2014 we have been hosting Atomic Friday concerts as well as regular readings, singer songwriters and exhibitions. The new club will pick up on this and expand it with the new Salle Universelle.

The Salle Universelle is ideally located right next to the main train station in Biel, directly across from the post office. There is plenty of space to work and study in the cozy Salle Universelle. We also offer the possibility for our guests to rent the space in order to host meetings or for co-working. Free access to WiFi and electricity included.

The renewed Atomic Café can now be booked for events with up to 90 people.
The whole café or the separately usable “Salle Universelle” is available for conferences, private celebrations, company events and various types of public events.
